Control4 Unveils New Halo Remotes and Vibrant Linear Lighting At CEDIA 2022
The annual CEDIA event draws attendance from the most well-respected and inspired technology vendors in the smart home industry. During the event, companies will announce their product roadmap plans, including coming products and enhancements.

Introducing Control4 Halo Remotes
If you liked the Control4 Neeo remote, you should love the new Control4 Halo line. Halo is the next-generation intelligent remote you can use to browse media, control smart devices, and select scenes for AV, lighting, comfort, and security. Using a similar design to Neeo, Halo remotes take the technology and features of the device a step further.
Strengthened Wi-Fi
Halo users will benefit from an increase in Wi-Fi strength. Halo has three to five times more strength than the Neeo remote and supports both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands.
Voice Controls
Control4 crafted Halo using the feedback of Control4 users. In addition, a new voice button that functions as a Siri remote for Apple TV or Xfinity voice remote for Xfinity boxes was added based on customer suggestions.
Touch and Non-Touch Options
The new Halo line has options for users who prefer touch screens versus buttons. The Halo standard remote has a 2.8-inch color interface controlled by hard buttons, while the Halo Touch features a 3.2-inch touchscreen interface. In addition, users will love the backlit buttons for easy use in the dark and the extended battery life available with both touch and non-touch options.
New Control4 Vibrant Linear Lighting
Would you like adjustable lighting to fit your mood? The new Control4 Vibrant Linear Lighting will allow you to adjust room lighting for any mood, activity, or time of day.
Vibrant linear lighting will come in a selection of white, tunable white, color, and color + tunable white options to provide you with many different lighting experiences. In addition, this new lighting will work with scenes you can activate through a button or voice command.
Many studies have been done on the benefits of lighting to support circadian health. For example, you can program vibrant linear lighting to mimic nature with cool lighting tones during the day and warmer illumination at night.
